Doug’s Back Surgery.wmv
Doug Bailey had a severe deformity in his spine caused by a combination of scoliosis and kyphosis that developed slowly since childhood. In October 2008, at the age of 41, Doug decided to have spinal fusion to correct his curvature. After a 3 month recovery, he returned to work – but the pain worsened. Unfortunately, the hardware in his spine could not support the structure – and the surgery had to be repeated in March 2009. This video was made in December 2009, 9 months later.

Dear Doug, I watched your video, you are so strong, My son Collin who is 15 is facing this surgery, me and his dad are scared to death for him, we dont know what we are going to face, we have known for 3 years now, and we went through the exercises and all of that, hoping it would get better, he has a 90 degree curve, we pray he does as well as you have…god bless, you and your beautiful family…
