Greenport doc stands behind back surgery
Read the full story at www.suffolktimes.com. Dr. Frank Adipietro, head of interventional pain management at Eastern Long Island Hospital in Greenport, performs a procedure called kyphoplasty to reduce back pain for those who suffer from it chronically. Though the surgery just recently came under fire by the New England Journal of Medicine, the doctor at the Long Island hospital says the procedure is still the best, least invasive way to help kill the pain.
