Has anyone had surgery on back that caused a pinching sensation in legs?
I had back surgery two weeks ago and now notice a pinching feeling in my legs when I stand straight. I am curious if that is a side effect of the surgery and the healing process or if the surgery has caused a new leg pain like a pinched nerve. Does anyone know if leg pinching or weird sensation is part of surgery and will go away, thanks.

my g-ma just had back surgery and had they same symptoms as you, she went back for a check up and she did have a pinched nerve right by her L12… so you might want to get that checked out,and i dout it will go away…

ouch.. that doesnt sound good..
it could either be siciatc nerve irritation, compression etc….and i have that and it hurts me if i try to stand straight or bend my back backwards just a little…. and this area is very easily aggrivated esp by anything done to the lower back.. surgery, injury, leaking slipped disc and more….
it could be a pinched nerve as well….
it sounds like the surgery was either not successful in taking care of what you had or there is still inflammation in the site that is aggrivating some nerve… i hope the latter is the case because there is more hope of it going away.
Try using ice and call them up and complain about it!!
i hope it goes away but it doesnt sound like something you should be having normally after a successful surgery…
