Is it a good idea to detox and diet before back surgery?

I will probably be having back surgery soon. I was thinking about doing a Master Cleanse detox and then switching to a vegetarian/vegan diet before my surgery. Is this a good idea? Or should I do both of these things after surgery?
What is a good dance style to learn after a back surgery?

I’m getting a back surgery over the summer, so it will take a while for me to get back into dancing. But once I do, I would like to try something new (I currently take Flamenco). Any ideas? Oh, if this helps…I LOVE musical theater. Yeah, any dance style that helps me there could also be good. Thanks!

A co-worker’s wife has a pinched nerve in her back, that otc pain relievers aren’t helping and physical therapy isn’t working either. Any ideas? She doesn’t like taking heavy duty meds because of her job.
